E-Commerce Director
Location: New York, NY
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive online marketing strategies to increase conversion rate and sales.
- Optimize the visual and textual performance of the Bachrach site and its ability to generate sales.
- Increase/improve email capture rate.
- Working with the SVP of Merchandising, manage and execute e-mail marketing programs.
- Serve as primary contact with Internet host, order processing, and fulfillment in order to maximize all e-mails and promotions.
- Develop and manage Internet partner and vendor relations.
- Ensure day to day effectiveness of content display, merchandising, navigation, search functionality and product presentation.
- Collaborate with product managers to integrate marketing strategies into overall brand marketing mix.
- Work with web designers to guide the look and feel of the web site/pages in accordance with brand and corporate style guidelines.
- Monitor, analyze and report Internet sales performance on a weekly basis.
- Analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of Internet marketing programs, tactics and strategies.
- Use this analysis to compile, interpret, and effectively report the performance of these initiatives.
- Provide on-going tracking and analysis of consumer onsite behavior.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of direct online marketing experience. Prior experience with apparel a plus.
- Understanding of technical issues related to web site management and on-line ordering systems.
- Strong knowledge of Internet languages including but not limited to HTML. Familiarity with asp.net a plus.
- Demonstrated market research, competitive intelligence and market strategy skills.
- Must have strong analytic and creative problem solving abilities.
- Highly organized, with strong communication, writing, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work effectively across departments.
- Must be a self-starter.
